Capri 280 "Brooklands"

The Capri 280 was the final run of capri's which were made. Originally only 500 were to be made however due to high demand this number was doubled and there were actually 1038 280's made. They were all painted in Brooklands Green hence why this model is often referred to as the brooklands.

The 280 was similar to the 2.8 injection special however was fitted with 15" RS 7 Spoke alloys & had full leather recaro interior. It also features the limited Slip Diff.

To work out the build number of a Brooklands capri take the chassis number which will start GG followed by 5 numbers, eg 11890. From this number subtract 10858 and your answer is the build number of your brooklands. Eg 11890 - 10858 = Build No 1132.
