Alford 2010

Thats right, it might be January but the plans for this years show preparations are in full swing already. The venue is once again the grounds of the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford, and the date that has been booked is Sunday the 29th August.

The finer details have yet to be confirmed, but the show is likely to follow the format of previous years which means its not just Capri's that are welcome. If you've never been before checkout the pics/video's from previous shows to get an idea!

Anyway enough woffle from me, I'll add more as and when details are confirmed.

UPDATE: MAY

As with that last we are asking individuals and clubs to prebook their entry for the show to guarantee a place. The cost this year is £5 per car if prebooked or £7 on the gate on the day. Visit the entry forms page on the website for full details and to download the necessary forms.

Once again we'll be making use of the sprint track on the day. We are planning once again to run the pursuit where 2 cars compete against each other, starting at opposite sides of the track. There are 32 spaces available for this, 16 to be prebooked in advance (see Track page for details) and 16 spaces available on the day, sign up at the club marquee.

Finally on the Saturday night before the show we have organised a wee night out. ALL welcome. As with last year we're having the night out starting at the Illicit Still in Aberdeen.
